Steam Trap Mechanic

Job Description: Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a steam trap and steam tracing mechanic for a chemical company in Kalama, Washington. The person in this position will be doing steam tracing, steam trap maintenance, pump troubleshooting, repairs, and pipe fitting work in a heavy industrial facility. Pay: $35.05-$39.40/hr Steam Trap Mechanic Responsibilities: Steam tracing Steam trap maintenance Rigging Pipefitting Welding Performing scaffolding activities Installing flanges, valves, and pipe blinding Various other maintenance mechanic duties as assigned. Steam Trap Mechanic Qualifications: 2 years of Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright experience, preferably in a petrochemical plant or refinery environment. Steam tracing and or steam trap maintenance experience Boilermaker experience preferred Common knowledge of rigging, pipefitting, and scaffolding activities Knowledge of Shop math, operate forklift, versed in plant safety Able to interpret schematics and read blueprints Compensation: $35.05-$39.40/hour Medical Excellent union benefits Paid Holidays and Sick Time Expected Travel Time: None
