Summary:

As a member of The Ripken Experience Retail team, you will be required to assist with the operation of our on-site merchandise store.

About Ripken PF:

The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge is a state-of-the-art sports complex located in Pigeon Forge, TN. Ripken Baseball specializes in youth baseball tournaments bringing teammates, coaches, and families together through our Big League Experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with merchandise purchases and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organize retail shop according to Ripken Experience expectations.
  • Operate a POS system.
  • Complete daily and monthly inventory of retail items as well as rotating stock.
  • Manage and maintain daily cost of sales, cash control and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with Dept of Labor, DHEC and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary environment within the retail shop.
  • Provide Retail Manager with feedback, ideas and suggestions on a timely basis.

Qualifications:

We require:

  • Minimum 1-3 years working experience.
  • Ability to work during the day or evening as determined by supervisor.
  • Required to work flexible schedule on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and effective leadership and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Special Physical Requirements of the Job/Working Conditions:

  • Routinely required to work extended hours of time including week days/nights, and weekends.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Routinely exposed to extreme hot/cold weather conditions, dust and particles, and loud noises.
