We are seeking a Forklift Operator for a position in Omaha, NE. Forklift Operators are responsible for stacking and retrieving supplies and materials. Responsibilities include working under the direction of supervisor, documenting and maintaining inventory, and ensuring production area organization and cleanliness. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Occasional Overtime during the busy season
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 1 years experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Preferably one (1) to three (3) years of experience in specified skill
  • Basic knowledge of hand signals
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Understands load capacity of extend boom forklifts
  • Knowledge of 4-wheel drive systems on extend boom forklifts
  • NCCER or NCCCO certifications and/or Turner Industries qualifications required
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
  • Job site safety requirements (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace


Functional Requirements:

Moves hand and foot levers to control diesel, electric, or gasoline operating equipment, Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed, Reads and interprets load charts, May be required to manipulate equipment on unleveled working surfaces, May perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines/equipment, Maintains a clean and safe work area, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
