Marathon Staffing is seeking candidates for contract, 1st Production Associate position available immediately in Austell, GA!

Hours:

1st Shift- Monday - Friday 10am-6pm

Pay: $16.00/hr

Requirements:

Keeping work area clean and free of debris

Requirements include, but may not be limited to:

Ability to commit to a contract lasting through the end of the year, potential for temp to hire.

Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays

Consistent attendance and reliable transportation a MUST

Ability to perform physical work including continuous standing, bending, stooping, etc.

Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

1. Picking loads for shipment from warehouse using a forklift and loading trucks and completing related paperwork.

2. Load flat bed and vans with finished product.

3. Operate nail gun and utilize varioius hand toos to complete product loading.

4. Operating lift truck, climbing on and off truck from floor, minimum of 3 ft at least 4 or more times a day.

5. Must be able to receive, handle and carry miscellaneous packages frrom shipping carriers weighing up to 70 lbs to warehouse storage areas within 50 ft distance.

6. Must be able to change out lift truck fuel tanks weighing greater than 40 lbs. and travel back and forth between the shipping office and the warehouse including moving up and down stairs.

7. Follows all applicable safety policies and practices, including but not limited to, use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, experience with lock out, tag out, and promoting good safety practices.

8. Will be responsible for the operating computers to create shipping manifests with minimal supervision. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Dependability: Little/no unscheduled absences, ability to work overtime as required

Self-motivated, attention to detail while still being able to work together with peers as a team.

Adhere to specific quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction

Ability to follow company policies and guidelines

Performs other tasks, as required.
