About the Role
The Company is seeking a Fund Accounting Vice President to oversee the fund accounting team and manage all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for the firm's managed private credit funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly closing process of multiple funds, including the approval of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytic review. This role also involves reviewing investor and parent company reporting, ensuring the team maintains books and records in compliance with governing documents, and participating in the onboarding of new funds. The Vice President will be a key figure in the review of legal documents for new funds and CLOs, as well as verifying the accurate calculation of management fees, distributions, and capital calls. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, 10-15 years' of relevant work experience, and a strong background in investment fund accounting. Experience in managing a team is essential, and knowledge of Wall Street Office, SAP, and Investran is preferred. Familiarity with the leveraged lending and/or securitized lending industry is a plus. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, as well as the capacity to lead a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
