POSITION:
Tool Crib Attendant, 2nd shift (345 – 1145 pm)
Position reports to MRO Buyer, Tool Crib
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ENVIRONMENT:
100% performed in plant facilities with extensive noise and machinery running
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds.

Tool Crib Attendant, 2nd shift (345 – 1145 pm)
Position reports to MRO Buyer, Tool Crib
SUMMARY:
The responsibility of the tool crib attendant is to maintain the Crib in a secure manner for authorized personnel only and for maintaining all tools, equipment, and consumables of the Company’s shop as well as keeping, sorting, and issuing parts for company use.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in an industrial establishment.
- Prepares periodic inventory or maintains inventory of tools and equipment via the computer.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming factory supplies, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
- Inspects returned tools and equipment for defects and wear, and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
- Will deliver tools or equipment to workers, via manually, using hand truck, palette truck, etc.
- May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
- Maintains inventory levels of all consumables and ensure that all tools and equipment are kept in good repair.
- High School diploma/equivalency
- Previous experience in stock room or tool crib
- Good organizational skills, detail oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of production and tooling a plus
- Good Computer skills (Outlook, Excel)
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) a plus
