Internal Medicine Physician

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Position: Physician - Internal Medicine Location: CA Start Date: ASAP Length/Need: Ongoing Schedule: * Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch * Frequency: Monday Friday, every week- no call, would also consider someone who could do only a few days/week Details: * EMR: Cerner * Setting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal * Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic * Patients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity (includes new patients) * Typical IM clinic population average age 70 * About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, chf, etc Requirements: * Board Certified in Internal Medicine required * Geriatrics is a plus Site will consider candidate BC in Family Medicine if they have experience in IM & Family Medicine- Required * Active CA license - Required
