Are you an experienced dental assistant with a commitment to positive patient experiences? If so, we’d love to talk with you. Our pediatric dental practice needs someone who can provide high-quality dental services to our clients and assist our dentists and dental hygienists with examinations and dental procedures. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, a coronal polishing license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. Compensation:

$18 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
  • Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
  • Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
  • Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team

  • Enjoy working with children and putting them at ease
  • Maintaining patient charts including health history, treatment plans, and operative notes
  • Taking radiographs
  • Other duties may include answering phones, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments

Qualifications:
  • Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired
  • Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
