Our pediatric dental practice needs someone who can provide high-quality dental services to our clients and assist our dentists and dental hygienists with examinations and dental procedures. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, a coronal polishing license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. Compensation:$18 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:- Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
- Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
- Enjoy working with children and putting them at ease
- Maintaining patient charts including health history, treatment plans, and operative notes
- Taking radiographs
- Other duties may include answering phones, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments
- Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired
- Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
