Job Description

CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing and repair of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures. We are conveniently located in northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

We are seeking a qualified Manufacturing Configuration Manager responsible for ensuring that a product's performance, functionality, and physical attributes remain consistent throughout its life cycle. This is accomplished by creating, tracking, and controlling different product variations, and ensuring that each configuration meets customer requirements and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer driven changes are assessed for impact by the following departments:
    • Quality
    • Compliance
    • Engineering
    • Purchasing
    • Production
    • Sales
Changes will include:
  • PO changes
  • Customer specification changes
  • Drawing changes
  • Internal changes to:
    • Procedures
    • Manufacturing plans and training to new change
    • CTL Pspec's
  • Ensure customer changes are implemented in a timeous manner.
  • Verify that correct incoming & outgoing data such as part model numbers are sent out for Tool manufacture.
  • Communicate with customers as required.
  • Facilitate configuration management Audits.
  • Special projects as assigned.


Job Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Engineering or 5 years direct experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Project Management experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player with a diverse group of people on the shop floor, other departments, and customers.
  • Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, Aerospace QC/QA systems, AS9100, AS13100, and NADCAP
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment.
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder
