The successful candidate will have experience in electronics assembly, circuit card assembly, and/or cable/harness assembly. Summary of Key Duties for this position:•You will write production plans and optimize production flows to meet program deliverables.•You will determine the need for tooling and make recommendations on the design of required tools.•You will troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor, work with assembly and test technicians to ensure hardware producibility, and respond to manufacturing assistance requests.•You will aid manufacturing engineering in incorporating engineering design changes to support a closed loop change management lifecycle and implementing process improvements to gain efficiencies.•You will support production operations in prioritizing work in process to meet program delivery schedules.•You will analyze shop performance and support Quality Assurance in root cause investigations and corrective action planning for process-related defects.Basic Qualifications•Mechanical assembly, vehicle assembly, electrical assembly, circuit card assembly, cable & harness assembly, and/or electro-mechanical assembly experience.•Experience writing manufacturing work instructions.•Experience reading engineering drawings and/or analyzing design documentation.•Manufacturing and/or Production Operations experience.•This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to able obtain a Secret security clearance and be a US Citizen.Desired skills•Experience with high-mix production operations.•Experience developing rework instructions, repair directions, or flow alteration records.•Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing techniques and principles as well as work measurements and labor standards.•Experience in SAP is a plus.•Strong oral and written communication skills. •Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office.•Active security clearance at the Secret level, or higher, is desired.EEOLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $64,700 - $124,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
