You will report to the Associate Director, Software Quality Assurance and work under the leadership of the VP, GA Platform Development . #LI-Hybrid Required Job Qualifications (Minimum): Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E/ B Tech. Computer Science or Equivalent) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent, Masters a plus Experience: Minimum 8+ years of relevant QE and automation testing experience, minimum of 3 years in leading QE Teams in an Agile environment. Strong leadership and mentoring skills Knowledge of Testing SOA Based Applications Knowledge of or experience with test automation (Tosca, Sahi, Protractor, Cucumber and Selenium) Hands on Command with Scripting Languages, preferably JavaScript. Knowledge of Test Management Solutions like QTest, Xray with JIRA Experienced services test automation using any Framework e.g.: Jest, Jasmine, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Junit/TestNG. Experienced in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) Good understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and automation tools in DevOps approach and Jenkins is a definite plus Proactive assessment of potential problems that may impact quality deliverables, or schedule. Coordinate with the onshore team and business to clarify offshore questions. Prominent level of attention to detail, creative problem solving, and capacity to work on a team. Familiarity working with scrum agile method of work Passion for research, problem solving, and high-quality deliverables. We are looking for self-motivated and passionate professionals that will perform the foll owing responsibilities: Work as a member of the WK (WOLTERS KLUWER) dXg Platform Engineering Team to help support an effective QE (Quality Engineering) capability to underpin and support Projects, Programs, and the management team's strategic goals. Provide direction to QE Analysts to successfully plan and execute QE Programs. The QE Manager, will report to the Sr QE Manager Participate in program planning and provide technical reviews and provide feedback on Requirements, Design Documents and Specifications, and Project Plans and Initiatives from a Quality Engineering and testing perspective. Coordinate efforts within the QE Team to increase the use of automation and related tools to increase reliability, repeatability, quality, and time to market Assist QE Analysts in reviewing Business Requirements and Software System Designs for gaps and testability. Develop effective and efficient Test Strategies to support Development Programs, Projects, and Prototyping activities Assist QE Analysts in troubleshooting and identifying root cause of issues uncovered during testing Create Test Strategies that define the testing scope and approach for projects Assist QE Analysts in developing and defining test data requirements to execute defined test strategies. Direct the day-to-day QE deliverables for the QE projects Conduct daily/weekly Issue Review Meetings Represents QE for Assessment phase of assigned projects to assemble estimates Proactively determine more efficient test approaches to increase quality and reduce overall QE costs Develop end-to-end test plans with other teams to ensure complete system testing coverage Generate project status reports Participates in yearly team objective progress Participates in Escaped Defect Analysis process and maintains all quality data Maintain all Atlassian JIRA & TricentisqTest project setup and data maintenance for projects Independent QE thought leadership to drive evolving QE processes Identify meaningful gaps in the QE process on an on-going basis that will drive measurable improvements in QE testing effectiveness and reduced defects into UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and Production Ensure team goals are set and tracked periodically for completion. Take care of team's technology and soft skills growth via appropriate engagement. Have regular discussions with team members and provide constructive feedback. Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution. Participate proactively in setting up development goals, maintaining group standards, tools, and best practices.
