Under the general direction of the Warehouse Manager II, CF, the Materials and Stores Supervisor II, CF assigned to the Southern Camp Warehouse (SCW) is responsible for all receiving/distribution functions and floor operations at the SCW. Supervise the receipt, storage, issuance, and shipping of a volume of varied supplies. In charge of a large volume of equipment, and is responsible for dispatch and maintenance of control records on the movement of equipment. Supervise and/or assist with a complex operation of receiving both fresh and frozen food products, and various other food products. Coordinate the appropriate re-distribution and proper handling of these items to their point of use. Ensure all supplies are picked up or delivered and processed in accordance to the institution's established guidelines or warehouse schedules. Duties will include: receiving trucks, supervising the unloading/loading operations, safe and proper storage practices, transport of goods and materials to camps as required or scheduled. Schedule camp and various supply deliveries and other duties consistent with the Materials and Stores Supervisor II classification. Assume equivalent duties and responsibilities in assisting a higher grade warehousing supervisor.

Working Conditions
About this location -- The primary mission of SCC is to provide housing, programs and services for minimum and medium custody incarcerated individuals, to aid in their rehabilitation. SCC is responsible for the training and placement of male incarcerated individuals in the Conservation Camp Program. SCC administers 31 male camps located throughout California.
