Our client has been providing full-service litigation and transactional legal services to Fortune 100 corporations, small, and middle-market companies, closely-held, and family-owned businesses, and individuals! Currently, they are looking to expand their team by bringing on a Legal Administrative Assistant.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50k - $60kPosition Overview:
Our client's Real Estate team is seeking a driven and professional Administrative Assistant to assist the team and help with closing contracts.Responsibilities of the Legal Administrative Assistant:
- Document Preparation and Management: Assist in the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, leases, and closing documents.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, scheduling meetings, answering inquiries, and relaying messages to attorneys and other team members.
- File Maintenance: Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files following firm policies and legal requirements.
- Calendar Management: Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and deadlines for attorneys in the Real Estate Department.
- Transaction Coordination: Assist in the coordination of real estate transactions, including liaising with clients, title companies, and other stakeholders.
- Research: Conduct basic legal and factual research to assist attorneys in case preparation.
- Billing and Invoicing: Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, track billable hours, and manage expense reports.
- General Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mail distribution.
Qualifications for the Legal Administrative Assistant:
- 2+years of legal administrative assistant experience is required .
- Knowledge of Real Estate documents and procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is a plus!
