Our technicians are trained to provide both preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and emergency service calls on various types of equipment, which include ice machines, coolers, freezers, and more. They have extensive experience in working on refrigeration equipment, such as ice machines, walk-in and reach-in coolers, and freezers. As a PM technician, their primary responsibility is to clean and sanitize commercial ice machines and ice/water dispensers, which involves cleaning condensers and replacing water filters. Additionally, they perform cleaning of condensers, overall inspection, and performance testing of food service refrigeration equipment.

The service technician is responsible for providing intermediate-level service, repair, and installation of food service equipment at the customer's location. This position requires an employee who is comfortable frequently interacting with customers. This work is performed on a full on-call rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
To qualify for this role, you must have a High School diploma or GED, or equivalent Military or practical experience.

You should have 2-3 years of experience in commercial installation and/or service and repair of food service equipment and kitchen/restaurant equipment. Successful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade school is preferred, with a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration.

You should have intermediate computer skills and the ability to successfully pass a background check post-offer acceptance.
