Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (Full-time, Day Shift)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assemble and Wire Control Panels: Follow detailed technical blueprints and electrical schematics to build high-quality control panels for industrial equipment.
- Use Precision Tools: Work with hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers) and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges) to ensure accuracy and high-quality output.
- Test and Troubleshoot: Build and test control panels to ensure all specifications are met. Troubleshoot wiring or schematic issues, collaborating closely with the engineering team to resolve problems.
- Quality Control: Ensure each control panel meets strict quality standards before shipment, guaranteeing that all work is error-free.
- Maintain an Organized Workspace: Keep your work area clean and follow safety protocols to create a safe, efficient work environment.
- Document Changes: Record final assemblies and any changes made during the build process to maintain accurate engineering documentation.
- Have 4-6 years of experience in control panel building, electrical assembly, or a similar role (or equivalent experience).
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED (Technical degree or certification is a plus!).
- Are proficient in reading 2D and 3D blueprints, electrical schematics, and control documentation.
- Know electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC, and can apply them to daily tasks.
- Have the ability to route and bundle wires neatly and according to electrical codes.
- Possess strong attention to detail and ensure error-free work.
- Are an effective communicator with excellent organizational skills who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
