Job Title: Electrical Apprentice - NIGHTS Job Description Perform installations of basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Responsibilities Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear box Wiring 3 way switches Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans Installing and mounting electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices Working with Electrical Distribution systems and wiring up 480V Installing conduit, wireways, pulling wiring/cables and terminating cables Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams Essential Skills 1-4 years of electrical experience Experience in commercial electrical work Experience with conduit bending and installation Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams Experience wiring 480 volts systems Additional Skills & Qualifications 3rd or 4th year apprentice electrician (not necessarily in an apprenticeship program) 2 full years of experience considered Experience bending and installing rigid 1.5 inch pipe Ability to perform modifications as needed Required Tool List: Screwdriver Set (Phillips and Flathead), Channel Locks (2 pair), Side Cutter Pliers/Diagonal Pliers, Socket set and wrenches (3/8” preferred), Hot Stick/Voltage Detector, Steel the person Why Work Here?
