Inventory Control Specialist II Role Summary Our client seeks an Inventory Control Specialist II to join their rapidly growing team. The Inventory Control Specialist II is responsible for inventory control processes and ensures that quality control initiatives are accurately followed and reported. They will be accountable for reporting all pertinent data to manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts process, inventory slotting initiatives, conduct audits, physical inventory, data entry, and report generation. Key Results Area Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure quality fulfillment services Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items Perform cycle counts as scheduled or as requested by the client Perform physical inventory as scheduled or as requested by the client Monitor and coordinate Pick location replenishments Handle client products in a manner that does not damage Review and analyze daily inventory adjustments and changes Assist with reports and analysis of inventory control results and activities Run queries/reports to support inventory control analysis and reporting Support or adapt existing applications (WMS, GEM, Collateral, Access, and Excel), tools, and reporting as needed Monitor slotting by velocity codes to ensure warehouses are set up accurately and effectively Escalate with IT to resolve report and system problems Perform projects, analysis, and data extractions as assigned Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations Participate in process improvements by communicating inefficiencies and being involved in the solutions Support and maintain corporate quality, health standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions Provide a safe working environment through adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies Learn, promote, and adhere to a 6S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) work area Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Skills & Qualifications High school diploma/GED required 2+ years of combined warehouse and inventory control experience Forklift certification required Ability to multi-task Superior attention to detail, solid judgment, and decision-making skills Experience in PC applications and ability to learn new systems Excellent math, reading, and communication (both verbal and written) skills Ability to work independently and in teams Ability to effectively communicate, provide coaching, and feedback to employees Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
