Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Parts Manager, the Parts Inventory Control Clerk monitors branch inventory, performs various control processes, and ensures that parts inventories are performing at an optimum level.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Pay: $20.00/hr. - $22.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile the Open Postings report (outstanding invoices and pending credits) for the branch.
  • Manage and facilitate core returns, as well as monthly Cummins core swaps.
  • Manage and facilitate all new product returns (PACCAR, Cummins, CAT, and all direct ship vendors).
  • Oversee, record, and investigate cycle count operations and variances.
  • Manage and oversee all special inventory projects.
  • Ensure the proper organization of parts in the warehouse and front showroom.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • 2 years of experience in a parts distribution environment preferred.
  • Understanding of inventory theory and practice, ability to adapt concepts to real applications.
  • Receptive to new ideas and new processes; eager to investigate and implement as appropriate.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer/software abilities.
