Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team in an FDA-regulated warehouse environment. The Warehouse Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and compliant storage, handling, and shipment of FDA-regulated products. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to FDA standards, and effective organizational skills to maintain compliance and streamline warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management

    • Receive, count, and organize stock, ensuring accurate inventory records.
    • Label products according to FDA requirements, ensuring compliance with all storage and handling guidelines.
    • Conduct regular audits and physical counts to verify inventory accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  2. Compliance and Quality Control

    • Follow all FDA guidelines for storage, labeling, and handling, including temperature and environmental controls as needed.
    • Inspect products for damage, expiration, and contamination, ensuring all products meet quality standards.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to support FDA audits and inspections.
  3. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

    • Pick and pack orders according to shipment schedules, ensuring proper handling of sensitive or perishable items.
    • Prepare shipping documentation, including batch numbers and expiration dates, to support tracking and compliance.
    • Update inventory systems with order details, ensuring accuracy in all records.
  4. Warehouse Organization and Safety

    • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that meets health and safety standards.
    • Implement efficient organization practices, ensuring FDA-regulated products are stored correctly.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and adhere to all safety guidelines.
  5. Communication and Collaboration

    • Report inventory discrepancies, quality issues, and potential safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
    • Work with other departments, including Quality Assurance and Logistics, to ensure compliance and seamless operations.
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on FDA regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with FDA-regulated products.
  • Familiarity with FDA guidelines for storage, handling, and labeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
