About the Role: As the Vice President of Information Technology, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Callen-Lorde. You will lead our IT team in developing and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and organizational growth. Key Responsibilities: As the Vice President of Information Technology, your responsibilities will include: Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute the IT strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall goals. IT Infrastructure:Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems. Health Information Technology:Lead the implementation and management of health information technology systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Data Management:Manage data governance, analytics, and reporting to drive data-driven decision-making. Cybersecurity:Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive patient data and organizational assets. Team Leadership:Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing IT team. Vendor Management:Manage relationships with IT vendors and negotiate contracts. Budget Management:Develop and manage IT budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with evening hours. Benefits: Salary will be based on experience and will be accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including an exceptional low cost medical plan option for you, your spouse/domestic partner and/or your family, dental insurance, vision insurance, no cost life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Tuition Assistance, commuter benefits, a generous paid time off plan, and a 403B retirement savings plan Qualifications Education, Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred 7+ years of experience directly related clinical experience, healthcare informatics or healthcare operations required. 7+ years of managerial experience in IT leadership roles. 3+ years of experience in health information systems, including EHRs (e.g., Epic or similar systems) Healthcare operations expertise and a strong customer service focus with ability to develop effective working relationships, required. Knowledge of health information systems, virtual and cloud computing, computer applications, network architecture and engineering, workstation and server operating systems and industry best practices. Proven ability to understand the business strategy and goals and their potential implications in terms of IT solutions required to support them. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams to meeting deadlines, goals, and objectives. Ability to work with limited supervision, showing creativity, innovation, motivation, initiative, and professionalism. Demonstrated initiative, problem identification, resolution and analytical skills are essential, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
