Business Development Manager - Product Sustainability

This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in a UL Solutions office. Research and identify potential clients and markets within the circular economy sector Develop a comprehensive understanding of client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements. Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their sustainability goals and challenges and provide tailored solutions to address their needs. Create and implement effective strategies to drive business growth. Collaborate with the management team to develop sales targets, marketing plans, and pricing strategies. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, consultants, and technical experts, to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations. Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in the circular economy sector. Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand knowledge and identify potential business opportunities. Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategies for improvement. Total Rewards: The salary range for this position is $110,000. - $120,000. and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position. All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 20% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level. We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours). A master's degree is preferred. Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the sustainability or circular economy sector. Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainability practices. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
