Their mission includes developing and promoting the mechanical contracting industry and exploring and supporting industry best practices. Whether it's a matter of resolving a labor dispute, providing customized trainings, answering safety-related questions, or assisting with bid procedures, MCAWW is glad to help their members save time and manage their businesses more effectively. Member firms include those who employ contractors who design, build and/or service plumbing, piping, HVAC and refrigeration system. About the role: The Administrative Assistant at MCAWW plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's daily operations, coordinating educational programs, organizing events, and assisting with member communications. This position is ideal for a proactive, organized professional who enjoys a mix of administrative support, event planning, and marketing tasks. As the go-to person for various operational needs, you'll manage the association's calendar, coordinate logistics for events, produce educational materials, and grow our social media presence, contributing to a positive experience for both members and staff. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Oversee general office operations, including managing the association calendar, scheduling meetings, handling mail, and maintaining supplies. Maintain office space, kitchen, and work areas; process supply orders and purchases as needed. Education Support: Prepare and distribute educational materials, support classroom setup, and assist with live and virtual classroom logistics. Event Coordination: Assist with planning and execution of major events, including the Annual Awards Event, Golf Tournament, Sip & Savor, and Holiday Party. Coordinate event logistics, liaise with vendors, and provide support for on-site or virtual events. Committee & Speech Network Support: Schedule committee meetings, take notes, and prepare and distribute meeting minutes. Marketing & Communications: Manage MCAWW's social media accounts, promote events and classes, and track registrations. Contribute to the bi-weekly e-newsletter, update the website, and maintain the member database. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, communicative, and capable of juggling multiple tasks to support the success of MCAWW's programs and services.
