We are looking for an Administrative Assistant that will be the first point of contact for taking phone calls, greeting visitors, and preparing correspondence. Specifically, we are looking for someone who will be able to represent the organization, provide clear and concise communication, and assist with administrative tasks in a professional manner. COMPANY OVERVIEW AND MISSION For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Tennessee Donor Services Eye Bank. Our performance is measured by the way we serve donor families and recipients. Key responsibilities this position will perform include: Provides front desk support including answering phones and greeting visitors in a prompt and professional manner.
Prepare memos, letters, faxes, and forms with attention to detail and quality.
Maintain office supply inventory and reorder as needed.
Routes incoming US Mail and shipments accordingly. Processes outgoing mail and package shipments.
Maintains office equipment (such as copiers, faxes, etc.).
Provides travel management services such as scheduling flights, hotels, transportation. Submits expense reports.
Assists with event management preparation by managing requests for catering, reserving conference rooms, scheduling training, and coordinating use of video conferencing equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have: Strong organizational skills. Examples of the ability to multi-task. High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of proven administrative experience. Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office application to include Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel is required. Must have a valid drivers license with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
