We are seeking a talented Accounting Supervisor for a small to midsized Twin Cities based company.

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.• Accounting Supervisor will handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.• Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.• Accounting Supervisor will audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.• Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.• Other ad hoc projects as assignedQUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING *
*• Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting• 3+ years of relevant Accounting experience (leadership preferred)• Financial statement preparation experience• Team player, willingness to do what it takes to support team and organizational goals• Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across organizational boundaries• Strong systems skills
