You will provide leadership and support for assigned account teams and external partners to ensure success for our Process Systems & Solutions business group, specifically supporting Emerson's Simulation Software platform, Mimic.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide Leadership and Sales Subject Matter Expertise for the Mimic platform
Build a sales plan for platform growth
Support successful sales activities with partner pursuits and account development
Lead quarterly platform business reviews
Lead internal and customer facing meetings to ensure strategic alignment and identify future opportunities including scope expansion which result in successful sales results for Emerson
Work closely with team members, customers, partners, and executives, both internal and external, as required
Responsible for meeting or exceeding bookings target for platform vertical
Support Sales Leadership as needed
Develop key relationships with partners and customers
Drive and facilitate channel partner success through corporate resource utilization and engagement
Support Process Systems & Solutions Business Processes
Responsible for managing and maintaining key pursuit activities per financial calendar for all assigned account pursuits
Responsible for forecasting key projects and account bookings & activities
Support and manage key business processes such as Delegation of Authority and Opportunity Reviews for pursuits in industry vertical
Develop Mimic marketing and sales messaging
Document and educate sales channel on value enablers and industry relevant applications
Create market message and sales strategies for Mimic
Lead community of practice team responsible for comprehensive market strategy and project pursuits
Develop quantifiable business results that can be used in other pursuits
Represent Single Point of Contact for Assigned Accounts
Enable and facilitate efficient internal and external communications through using internal and external networks
Who You Are:
You are a sales professional that serves as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You readily distinguish between what’s relevant and what’s unimportant to make sense of complex situations. You are decisive and make high-quality decisions, even when based on incomplete information or in the face of uncertainty. You convey clear performance expectations and follow up consistently while delegating in a way that empowers ownership. You enjoy developing networks. You have a passion for helping customers meet their business objectives. You have a keen understanding of how and when you apply technology to business problems and reporting on the results.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's Degree, plus 6 or more years of relevant experience, or will consider experience in lieu of degree
Proven results in creating business growth and building effective relationships
Knowledge of and experience with the Process Automation industry
Willingness to travel up to 20%
Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Technical Field
Specific experience and expertise with Mimic Platform or other Process Simulation Software
4 years of sales leadership, account management experience
MBA
Experience with or knowledge of Mimic methodologies
