$55 The MES Systems Analyst is a DevOps role used to monitor, maintain, improve, and deploy IT solutions to aid in the manufacturing of cars. Candidates must have IT knowledge for C#/ASP.NET programing, database, troubleshooting, and use a variety of computer applications and hardware. This knowledge is applied in a manufacturing environment where communication with production engineers, managers, suppliers, vendors, and stake holders occur on a daily basis to produce cars, maintain exceptional vehicle quality, and produce next generation car models. In order to achieve production goals, the MES Systems Analyst will analyze system logs and customer needs to mitigate downtime and perform system enhancements that will streamline the manufacturing process. To protect production, they will ensure that all computer systems are highly available through various clustering, replication, backups, and disaster recovery technologies; perform system patching; collaborate with other HAEA network, security, database, and system administrators to ensure all systems are configured properly; train and collaborate with MES Technicians to monitor and troubleshoot servers, applications, and lineside IT equipment; assist customer in the usage of the MES, IQIS, and PEMS. Role and Responsibilities: Create/modify, test, and deploy C# & ASP.NET applications for primary & secondary systems Created and modify SQL statements, stored procedures, and other database objects Configure, test, and maintain servers, workstations, VMs, scanners, printers, mobile devices, PLC interfaces, backups, and other specialty software Utilize SNMP, Whats up Gold, vRealize, NQVM, VNC, and other tools to monitor the system Document system architecture for cross-training and troubleshooting purposes Function as the subject matter expert in assigned MES Sub Systems and function as an escalation point for MES Technicians Debug source code and check system logs to determine the root cause for system issues Create System Incident Reports when system outages impact production Create approval documents for system changes and purchase decisions Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts for new technology and systems Thoroughly test all system changes and function as a peer reviewer for other Systems Analyst Install hardware and software on the production floor and Data Center Participate in production meetings, project meetings, and other important team meetings Provide frequent reports on development projects and escalate as needed Generate ideas to improve the stability, functionality, and management of the MES System Collaborate with Network, Security, Storage, Database, and SAP/ERP Administrators, Production Engineers, PLC & Robot Engineers, and HQ Representatives to provide production support On-call support required outside of your shift, based on critical production needs. Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of C# Win Forms and ASP.NET experience 5+ years of SQL experience Prior system administration experience (preferred) Prior MES or manufacturing experience (preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills Strong documentation and communication skills Working knowledge of SDLC and project management skills Require Software Skills:
