About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Global Tax to take on a pivotal role in managing and optimizing all aspects of the global tax function. The successful candidate will be a true business partner, providing high-quality and timely tax advice to support the company's business objectives, including international expansion and strategic acquisitions. This role involves monitoring and aligning the company's long-term policies and strategies with changes in tax regulations, as well as leading the development of tax strategies to minimize liabilities and ensure compliance across global operations. The Vice President, Global Tax will also be responsible for identifying and driving solutions for tax risks, leading process transformation projects, and maintaining effective control procedures over the tax process. Applicants for the Vice President, Global Tax position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in a large multi-national U.S. public company or Big 4 firm, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A CPA and a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field are required, with an advanced degree or certification in taxation preferred. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in U.S. GAAP, U.S. international tax concepts, and transfer pricing, as well as a compelling track record in process improvement and automation, particularly in the use of tax technology. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a commitment to quality and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
