System One is currently seeking a Project Manager (hybrid) on a 12 month contract position located in Denver, CO.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Working on the strategic capital side.
Will be managing large more complex projects could be renewable.
Responsible for managing projects.
Responsible for verifying the justification, continued scoping of the project to make sure that all stakeholders needs are included in the project scope.
Determining if consulting engineers need to be hired to do any engineering for the projects or hiring contractors to perform the work.
Ordering material and equipment needed to execute the work.
Responsible for managing the budget, quality, safety and schedule.
Working projects from cradle to grave, overseeing work periodically in the field with support.
Making sure the contract requirements are being followed by both engineering firms and contractors and equipment suppliers up through the closeout of the project and turnover to our operations group, who will be the ones who operator following turnover.
Responsible for working with the many departments within the company, collaborating and bringing the teams together. You may be working with the Sitting and Land Rights group, Environmental Group, and Sourcing Group, getting contracts, issuing project controls to assist with budget management and schedule development.
Plant operations.
There is a planning group for the large, major kind of strategic projects that plans and develops those projects for them and turns them over to execution.
Responsible for documentation paperwork, managing of the contracts and everything from them and executing upon that work.
Project Engineer Requirements:
Microsoft Office Suite
SAP is a plus
BS Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
Utility or Oil/Gas experience
PMP Certification is preferred
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Location: Denver, CO
Pay Rate: $75-77/hr
This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
