Flex Financial contributes to making health care better by providing financing options for our customers, so they can more readily acquire Stryker products. The individual selected for this role will be expected to reconcile, monitor, and clear open balances related to financed transactions through Stryker’s leasing arm, Flex Financial.

As Flex continues to grow, this role would partner with Internal Audit and Compliance to develop and maintain internal audits around Flex transactions. This would require interpreting reports and records for customers, sales force, and divisional contracts.

This role would be an active participate in Flex’s month end process. This will be including but not limited to providing records of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions as necessary.

The following responsibilities will also be a part of this role:

Reviewing, reconciling, and proposing recommendations to their manager and the Flex Financial Controller of next steps regarding unpaid or overpaid lease payments on terminated contracts

Identifying contracts that need final action for termination, and ensuring corresponding journal entries are completed within the general ledger as part of this process

Researching variances within large sets of data related to general ledger reconciliations

Performing and submitting monthly account reconciliations

Submitting various journal entries related to the Flex Financial process

Providinghigh level of service to both internal and external customers

Continuously seeks opportunities to improve existing processes

Providing recommendations to leadership on key business decisions with thoughtful analysis on how financials will be impacted

What You Will Need

Required

Bachelor’s Degree (or its global equivalent) from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, Business

0 - 2 years general accounting, reconciliation, finance, or related experience

Preferred

Computer literacy: Microsoft Office products, Salesforce.com

General accounting knowledge

Financial statement knowledge

Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge

SAP

Power BI
