Position Description: As a Project Manager at IE, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of our multifamily signage and creative signage projects. Your ability to manage these projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within budget, will be key to our continued success.
Essential Functions:
Opportunity/Budget Proposal Support (10%)
Organize bid documents (Developer/GC) Perform preliminary local code research – sign, building, health & fire code. Perform take-off (Fieldwire) from bid set Provide initial budget ranges per sign type/service in sign package worksheet (SPW) excel. Budget/Contract Review & Job Introduction (30%)
Enter project details in all ERP databases Submit COIs Write up sign package for conceptual design (determine quantities, size limitations, installation methods, messages, etc.) Write message schedules for sign types with varying messages Review package with customer and general contractor to ensure final firm pricing bid package is complete and accounts for all signage. Project Management (35%)
Address daily project requests from the general contractor, architect, or Director of Division Provide weekly status reports, standard reporting, drawing revisions, scope reviews, estimate requests, etc. Ensure projects are on track with latest information is disseminated throughout. Address all delays and inform client/GC promptly Submit and maintain a project schedule in real time in Trello Schedule installations and track the install progress of the project with GC and internally in Fieldwire. Create Invoices for all Jobs and Change Orders (5%)
AIA (American Institute of Architects) billing for each project by due date, if applicable. Change Orders (20%)
Changes submitted from customer or general contractor with requirements, plans and drawings. Create CO Proposal Job Close/Cost Analysis Meeting (5%)
Review actual vs. budget with Estimator Discuss variances Candidate Should Possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field PMP is a plus, but not required Experience:
Signage design/fabrication experience is a plus, but not required. Multifamily or Corporate Signage experience is a plus, but not required. 2+ years of Marketing/Advertising is a plus, but not required. Copywriting experience is a plus, but not required. Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, project contracts, AIA billing and relevant construction groups. Experience managing construction and/or design projects. Why Join Us?
