When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on advancing our clients’ bold environmental stewardship, energy transformation, and sustainability initiatives. We’re seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager in the Oakland, CA area to lead siting, permitting, and licensing of critical energy infrastructure maintenance and replacement, renewable energy, and/or energy transformation projects.

You’ll apply and grow your technical and management experience in leading environmental planning and compliance; natural and cultural resources; and executing a permitting strategy. Your leadership will be key to realizing energy transformation for safer infrastructure operations, healthier communities, and protection of our world’s natural resources. The Power and Energy industry is undergoing unprecedented disruption on a global scale. Traditional value chains and regulatory constructs are being challenged. This transitionary period from today to a decarbonized tomorrow, embracing this disruption, is called the energy transition. Jacobs is helping our clients navigate the future around decarbonization, electrification demand and decentralization, by providing innovative and efficient solutions. From aging and retiring asset bases in traditional base load power systems, to the increasing penetration of intermittent renewable generation, Jacobs is supporting power utilities and private companies all around the world to find the best solutions to their power and energy challenges.
