is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team driving Cloud initiatives forward. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both AWS and Azure Cloud platforms and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in solutions design and platform architecture will be essential in driving our Cloud strategy forward. Here's what you will do on a day-to-day basis: Design, architect, implement, and manage Cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
Develop and automate using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, propose design changes, implementing scalable and secure Cloud solutions.
Review and optimize Cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, scalability, performance and security
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers and project stakeholders.
Utilize automation to help enable business objectives, streamline services and drive solution reliability
Stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud technologies, frameworks and best practices.
Using a customer focused approach, troubleshoot and resolve Cloud-related issues in a timely manner
Provide input into root cause analysis initiatives and define corrective actions
Work with leadership and key stakeholders to plan projects and deliverables
To be considered for this role, here's what you will need to bring with you: Typically, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
7+ years of IT experience
3+ years of hands-on Cloud experience
Proficiency in Azure and/ or AWS Cloud platforms
Proven track record in solutions design and platform architecture
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated expertise with documentation
It would be great if you also had: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps and GitLab
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and communication skills
Familiarity with Hybrid-Cloud and Multi-Cloud environments
Experience with security and architecture best practices in Cloud environments
Administrator or Architecture level Certification in AWS and/or Azure is a plus
Experience with IaC and CaC tooling such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, and Ansible
Understanding of system interoperability, distributed systems, and integrations with Cloud Platforms

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $110,000.00-$135,000.00 Annually
