Primary Function:
Under the direction of and reporting to the Director of Stewardship and Development, this position will work with the Program Manager to perform regular reporting and donor fulfillment tasks. These tasks include the data entry of all donations, managing the weekly correspondence of statements to donors, and responding to donor inquiries. This position will also manage the grant applications to several foundations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ø Provides data support to the Director to implement all aspects of diocesan annual campaigns, development, grants, and stewardship.
Ø Involved with the departmental maintenance of Arreva and Authorize.net.
Ø Coordinate the import of gift records, processing gifts online, gifts via general mail, and pledges and pledge payments.
Ø Assists with the writing of grants and annual reports to foundations. Also maintains an active grant database and grant calendar with deadlines.
Ø Interact and effectively coordinate with other CPC staff, pastors, and parish staff to provide accurate and timely reports.
Ø Ensures the integrity of data in all databases and maintains confidentiality of records.
Ø Manages communication via email and calls to the Stewardship and Development office and responds to inquiries timely and professionally.
Ø Assists with accurate and timely gift acknowledgements, thank you letters, and pledge reminders.
Ø Maintains a positive relationship with donors, pastors and parish staff, and Diocesan staff.
Ø Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ø Must be a practicing Catholic who possesses a sound working knowledge of the Catholic faith.
Ø Associates Degree in computer-related field preferred.
Ø Query/reporting and proficiency in Excel required.
Ø Content management systems and grant experience, a plus.
Ø Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
Ø Ability to work effectively with donors, staff, contractors, and others.
