School Based Speech Language Pathologist

CiTi BOCES is currently seeking a NYS licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals.
Assist in classroom modifications and accommodations to enhance communication access.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ goals and progress.
May work with students who have articulation, fluency, voice, or social communication challenges.
Job Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
State licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York.
Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience working with school-age children preferred.
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
