FULL-TIME [Nonexempt] : 40 Hours
Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) (https://positions.paylocity.com/PositionManagement/wizard/2033530) seeks a talentedAccountant Ito contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. TheAccountant Iis responsible for performing routine accounting functions as part of CCSI’s consulting engagements with provider organizations across NYS. Related activities include but are not limited to: accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable processing; bank transactions, and adjusting journal entries, as well as reconciliation of related accounts. TheAccountant Iwill also play an integral role in the team maintaining and coordinating financial record-keeping for provider organizations.
In this role, you will be
Working collaboratively with the Area of Practice Lead to manage, record, review, and reconcile accounting transactions.
Reviewing and processing routine accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting entries
Completing timely and accurate account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries for balance sheet accounts.
Monthly recording and reconciliation of prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, and other liabilities.
Recording cash receipts and general ledger expense/revenue transactions.
Assisting in maintaining accurate fixed asset inventory and depreciation schedules, including any additions and disposals, and recording expense monthly.
Assisting the accounting team with the timely month and year-end close process.
Assisting with regular general ledger, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Assisting in organization and preparation of annual audit documentation and supporting schedules
Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
Working with the organization towards continual improvement of internal accounting operations and reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart (https://www.ccsi.org/CCSI/media/pdfs/Equivalency-chart.pdf) ).
Experience in accounts payable and/or related accounting functions, preferred
Experience with various Non-Profit accounting systems preferred (Blackbaud, FUNDEZ, QuickBooks, etc).
Experience in not-for-profit organization preferred

Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
