Description Position Summary: Works under the direction of the US Controller, Non-SAP to assist in producing and maintaining reconciling detailed and accurate general ledger and sub-ledgers of assigned entities. Assists in the preparation of accurate, on time financial results and internal management reporting for decision making as assigned. Supports the US Controller, Non-SAP in creating and maintaining a robust internal control environment. Supports proper classification and closing activities related to expenses and accruals. Supports monthly closing activities and reporting in corporate tools. Partners with other areas of finance and the business to ensure complete, accurate and timely recording of transactions. Prepares general journal entries regularly. Must possess a thorough knowledge of debits and credits and how they are transacted in an ERP system to create financial data. Will use NetSuite ERP to input data, generate or create reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May be called on to assist with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable processes as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain and ensure completeness of all assigned deliverables necessary to support the closing schedule/checklist for US finance. Maintain and ensure completeness of all assigned GL reconciliations monthly. Prepare journal entries. Prepare variance analysis for various accounts. Assist with reviewing the P&L and Balance Sheet at period close for completeness and accuracy. Provide support to MFG Controlling, A/P, and A/R personnel as required. Identify and assist in managing assigned areas of implementation for merger into Biomerieux processes, systems, and procedures. Balance sheet reconciliation preparation with appropriate support and documentation. Assist with annual external and internal audit by providing source support and other explanations as assigned. Prepare and manage balances and journal entries for Prepaid Assets, Fixed Assets, Intercompany transactions, A/P Accruals, and any others as assigned. Assist with intercompany reconciliation (ICR) for month-end and quarter-end. Other projects as assigned. Education, Skills, & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of accounting experience including 3+ years of experience using

NetSuite .

Experience working with Financial Statements, including expertise in Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow reporting. Proficient with Microsoft office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; and other related business reporting tools. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with a demonstrated ability to translate technical financial information. Thorough understanding of proper requirements for accurate balance sheet reconciliation Understanding of general accounting principles such as cut off, accruals, deferred revenue and expenses, and Accrual Accounting
