The Sales Finance team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated analyst. As part of this team, you will support Apple's growth, both top and bottom line, by applying the same level of innovation toward financial matters as we do toward our products and services. We work closely with various business teams to deeply understand current and future commercial initiatives and then partner with data systems to ensure our finance teams are fully empowered to operate efficiently and make well informed decisions.
Description
We are looking for a team-oriented professional with high analytical capacity, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills to support the US Sales Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering across business teams to find and execute on the highest value process opportunities. The position requires the ability to understand and work with complex data sets, generated from equally complex business processes, in order to drive efficiency. The ideal candidate is one who has been a top performer in their career with a proven track record of accomplishments. This position will work cross-functionally with Apple Sales, Finance and technical teams to: - Deeply understand Apple's relevant business activities, commercial interests and related processes - Identify opportunities to automate internal manual processes to improve timeliness of execution and accuracy - Partner with teams to identify ways to best use our data and technology infrastructure across teams and programs - Drive prioritized projects and communicate progress on planned milestones to senior leadership - Manage forecast and close cycles to ensure proper management of profit and loss statements
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of financial/business/data analyst experience
BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or quantitative field (CS, Applied Statistics, Operations Research)
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment
Comfortable dealing with complex & ambiguous situations
Experience building/applying statistical and/or machine learning solutions to solve business problems
Excellent problem-framing, problem solving and project management skills, with the ability to change direction quickly
Ability to quickly build relationships and partner cross functionally at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results in a demanding and quickly changing environment
Working closely with the Shared Service center and Outsource Partners on new and enhanced processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results of analysis in business terms
High level of integrity, Attention to detail, enthusiasm and agility
