Technical Project Manager

Job Title: Technical Project Manager Duration: 12mo-18mo contract Location: Richmond VA, Kennesaw GA, Chandler AZ, Chicago IL Required Pay Scale: $60-$64hr ***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates*** Job Summary: Candidate must be a self-starter, innovative, flexible to adapt to directional changes with a strong can do attitude and possesses a continuous improvement mentality. Superior listening skills with the ability to understand objectives and facilitate solutions Ability to communicate effectively and concisely verbally and in written/presentation format. Ability to identify improvement opportunities and ensure work is processed effectively Willingness to learn and grow as part of a cohesive delivery team Ability to grasp concepts and implement thoughtful solutions 10+ years of Project Management experience 10+ years of software development or application production support experience Data analysis & reporting experience Determine and define project scope and objectives Track project costs in order to meet budget Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment Experienced in overseeing multiple sets of tasks and deliverables Excellent written and verbal communication skills Project Details: Program management resource to coordinate technology deliverables across a portfolio of applications. Work includes coordination with business stakeholders and vendor/bank technology resources to deliver work product on established timelines.
