About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim Director of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis for its private equity-backed portfolio companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making, and delivering data-driven recommendations to improve financial performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and experience in high-growth, PE-backed environments. Key responsibilities include leading the FP&A function, developing and maintaining financial models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting capital allocation decisions, and monitoring key performance indicators. The Interim Director of FP&A will also provide financial leadership during M&A activities and assist with system improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency. Applicants for the Interim Director of FP&A position at the company should have a proven track record as a senior-level finance leader, ideally within private equity-backed companies. Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is essential, as is a strong understanding of strategic financial planning and capital allocation in high-growth environments. The role demands advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior management. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CFA being preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with M&A activities, including due diligence, financial integration, and post-merger analysis, and will be adept at delivering actionable insights from data to support executive-level decision-making.
