Scope and Purpose
To assist the CFO and other Accounting staff with the accounting and audit of all program and project operations. Above all else, the spirit of teamwork and cooperation with other team members will not only improve the job done, but enhance the entire work experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
General Administration:
Assist with internal audit of the Capital Fund Program for Public Housing. Assist with monthly reconciling of trial balances for accurate financial reporting. Assist with audit of cash funds maintained at all locations, including vending income.

``` - Assist with paying all invoices, charge to proper projects accounts and code all checks; - Assist with maintaining general ledger and all supporting documentation necessary for program Compliance; - Assist in prepare for the financial audit; - Assist with grant administration e.g. Capital Fund, etc. - Assist with monitoring utility usage and summary for yearend statement; - Assist with preparing and maintaining Tenant Accounts Receivable Register and Investment Register; - Assist in submitting monthly and quarterly reports (Monitor Federal tax Form 941, Indiana Department of Workforce Development Form UC-1, Limited Partner; Department of Housing and Urban Development Reports, including Section 8 Voucher Management System (VMS)); - Prepare 1099 forms as well as reporting to SSA, Internal Revenue Service, and Indiana Department of Revenue;

``` - This individual should require little to no supervision and reports directly to and assists the CFO in most financial aspects of the Authority; - Assist with monthly and fiscal year end closings;
Supervising Personnel:
This position may supervise employees as/when deemed necessary.
Working Hours:
This is a fulltime position.
Skill Requirements
Knowledge of basic accounting, particularly the ability to reconcile accounts and audit various functions within the department.
Knowledge of Agencys policies and procedures, particularly as they pertain to the finances of the Agency and property management.
Knowledge of Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and IRS rules and regulations that apply to property management.
Knowledge of basic office practices, procedures, and equipment.
Knowledge of the principles of management and supervision.
Knowledge of the operation of the Agencys computer system and software.
Knowledge of Basic English in order to communicate verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of mathematics sufficient to perform audit functions and sales verification.
