PROJECT MANAGER-CONSTRUCTION
The Construction Project Manager role, plans, directs, manages, and provides oversight of assigned design and construction projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters. Effectively communicates with stakeholders, management, contractors, technical staff, and field staff. Provides internal and external coordination and collaboration with project partners and stakeholders. The position requires considerable judgment and latitude in performing job duties and is expected to function effectively with minimal to moderate direct supervision. This includes traveling to project sites as required to ensure production and coordination requirements are met.

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in construction management, architecture or engineering or related fields preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience.
Ability to pass government clearance to gain entry to federal installations.
Valid Driver's License
Certifications: CPR, OSHA 30, USACE Quality Control Management, etc.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
Minimizes exposure and risk by implementation of safety standards and quality assurance controls
Coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects.
Modifications of plans, etc. Plans, implements, tracks and closeout / turnover of construction projects.
Manages day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple construction projects in a supervisory role
Manages day to day client interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role
Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, and project costs
Manages and achieves revenue goals set for projects
Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting
Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken
Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
Implementation and enforcement of MIRADOR safety and quality control programs.
Conducts weekly meetings with all subcontractors, MIRADOR management and stakeholders.
Create and present reports to upper management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors
