We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you'll manage financial records, prepare reports, reconcile accounts, maintain accurate financial reports, and assist with month-end close procedures. Success in this role relies on your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with our team.
Location:
Charlotte, NC (preferred), will consider applicants that reside in South Carolina and Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:
· General Ledger Accounting: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP principles
· Account Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
· Accounts Payable/Receivable Support: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
· Month End Close: Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
· Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and other management reports as requested.
· Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for audits by gathering required documentation and supporting the finance team throughout the audit process.
· Expense Tracking: Review and track expenses to ensure compliance with company policies, identifying cost saving opportunities when possible.
· Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Collaborate with the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Experience: 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-location healthcare services.
· Skills: Proficiency in Sage Intacct is preferred, along with experience in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting- software.
· Knowledge: Understanding general ledger and accounts payable functions using accrual-based accounting principles.
· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with team members across various departments.
· Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
