Cedarbrook Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a Full-time Nursing Department Staffing Coordinator for its Skilled Nursing Facility in Allentown.

Full-time Position with GREAT government benefits, Monday-Friday schedule

Must have experience with Staffing/Scheduling in Nursing home setting.

This is advanced secretarial support work providing typing, organizational and related support to management officials and assisting associated staff members in the substantive processing of functional requirements.

Communicate with department heads, staffing levels & needs

Overseeing all staffing needs and operations of facility.

Liaising w/ staffing agencies to fill vacancies in a timely manner.

Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions.

Ensure compliance with internal/ external policies and regulations and follow Union MOU guideline.

Prepare & submit reports on staffing operations.

Collaborate with HR Departments to ensure correct employee compensation!

Reviewing daily schedules and filling open shifts with adequate coverage.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Reliable with a respect to confidentiality

Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position

Solid knowledge of Department of Health regulations

Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practice in LTC/ Rehab Facility

Excellent interpersonal communication and multitasking skills
