Job Description:
Summary
The primary objective of this role is to provide support, coordination, and communication. This role will assist in project management, decision-making, and problem solving while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of Bank-wide and department specific projects.
Apply sound project management principles including, but not limited to: preparation and tracking of project plans, management of risks and issues and management of project budgets and spend.
Prepare written status updates and presentations/reports on the specified projects for communication to the Project Steering Committees and Project Oversight Committee, as needed.
Provide clear and precise communications and updates to all stakeholders.
Gather, interpret and document stakeholder requirements and processes through workshops, interviews, storyboards, use cases, process-flow maps and other methods.
Assist the stakeholders in the development of test approaches and plans. Work with the stakeholders, as needed, to manage the testing process and/or oversee it.
Manage issues and risks – ensure these are captured; work with the project teams to formulate mitigations and workarounds as needed. Assist with presenting recommendations to Project Sponsors/Project Oversight Committees for approval.
Work collaboratively with IT and Information Security to review and ensure that technical solutions meet the business requirements and conform to Information Security standards.
Assist the Head of Project Management in ensuring that all change processes are kept up to update.
Promote good change principles across the Bank - work with the business to provide guidance, assistance and support for the change component associated with assigned projects.

Ability to work with internal and/or external parties who may have competing deadlines and priorities, ensuring they are "bought-in" to the change.
Ensure that any task allocated is seen through to the very end and to a good standard.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and against deadlines.
Ability to analyze data and make conclusions and recommendations.
Apply initiative, showing a preparedness to go beyond normal constraints, applying a lateral thinking approach to problem solving.
Able to manage own workload, and priorities, plan actions and monitor progress.
Cooperate and represent a liaison with others to achieve goals.
Team Player with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and build positive and open work relationships.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in project management or other related experience
Computer and Software Skills
Strong proficiency with Microsoft (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) and Google (Mail,Sheets, Docs, etc.)
Proficiency in Project Management Software (MS Project, Asana, etc.) is a bonus
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
