Northrop Grumman is seeking a Human Resources Intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore or Annapolis Junction, MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Human Resources team working in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will provide general support of the human resources team on talent topics such as attraction, retention, and diversity & inclusion.

Roles and responsibilities will vary but general responsibilities could include :

Support of the Human Resources generalist team including project work around employee data management, assimilation, retention, diversity, etc.

Assisting in creating and providing input on talent strategies, creation of content and materials for use by stakeholders in the business and within the HR team

Creating, compiling, and analyzing metrics and reports and creating presentations to visually display results.

Support of our hiring and attraction efforts including support of the E&S Hiring Team and the onboarding experience of our new hires

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2025.

Be majoring in or having majored in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Communications, Psychology or a related field of study.

Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.

Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Demonstrated project management skills and/or event coordination experience (prior internship, classroom setting, extracurricular, volunteer capacity etc.).

Previous classroom or internship experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or related discipline.

Self-motivated, willing to learn and interested in working in a fun, fast paced team working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

Pay Range:

Bachelors: $18.00 to $33.00 per hour

Masters: $26.50 to $41.75 per hour

Salary Range: $1 - $1

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
