What does a successful Axiom Developer do?
We are seeking a highly skilled AXIOM Developer to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to development, strong analytical skills, and expertise in creating and optimizing AXIOM configurations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality, readable, and efficient AXIOM code based on detailed technical specifications.
Contribute to technical design and development of AXIOM configurations, including data sources, data models, and portfolio aggregations.
Analyze and debug issues within AXIOM configurations, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
Develop and review PL/SQL code to support data sourcing into AXIOM, ensuring smooth data flow from the database to the AXIOM platform.
Ensure all code and configurations meet predefined company and department standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to review functional requirements and ensure a comprehensive understanding of project needs.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization for PL/SQL code.
Prepare and execute detailed unit tests to validate AXIOM code functionality in Controller View.
Coordinate the implementation process, including code packaging, approval acquisition, and deployment.
Collaborate with business counterparts and cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, testing, and delivery.
Requirements:
Proven experience in hands-on AXIOM development.
Strong knowledge of AXIOM configuration, including data sources, data models, and portfolio aggregations.
Proficient in PL/SQL development with a focus on performance tuning.
Ability to analyze complex data flows and debug configuration issues effectively.
Experience with unit testing and delivering robust AXIOM solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in financial or regulatory reporting environments.
Familiarity with end-to-end data flow processes.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
