Woolpert is continually moving its culture forward. Because of our growth, we are seeking a H&H (Hydrologic and Hydraulic) Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in Texas. Responsibilities
Conduct difficult to complex hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
2D H&H analyses for modeling and mapping floodplains and floodways in riverine and urban areas. Perform watershed hydrologic analyses for planning, outfall master planning, flood control conveyance and detention facility design Assimilate and present data in reports and public forums. Lead technical effort on project and provide guidance to junior staff Lead production of analysis calculations and technical reports. Work in a multi-disciplined, multi-office team environment. Ability to meet with clients and maintain excellent client relations and meet client expectations, including an ability to concisely explain project status and address/remedy client concerns. Must be able to prepare project scopes of work, cost proposals, schedules, and contracts The candidate will be responsible for the control of work-in-process, ensures accurate client billings, and monitors both accounts receivable and collection efforts for projects Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously Duties may include occasional field work and travel. Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Master Degreein Civil Engineering preferred and at least ten (10) years related experience. Candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas. Experience in operating hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software for stormwater analysis using software such as (EPA/XP/Info/PC)-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (2D), GeoHECRAS, ICPR (2D), InfoWorks ICM, and StormCAD, . Team spirit and willingness to assist junior staff in a team environment to deliver accurate project deliverables within designated scope, schedule, and budget parameter Experience working with Harris County Flood Control District, City of Houston, and/or TxDOT is preferred Candidate must be highly motivated, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and excel in a multidiscipline project team environment. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software is preferred.
