Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Green Bay area to participate in close processes, including preparing internal reporting and performing in-depth variance analysis. The Senior Accountant will put together period-end journal entries, perform analytical review procedures during monthly close and prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
Responsibilities: Be responsible for the following accounting areas: Goodwill, equity, share-based compensation, intercompany transactions and balances and foreign currency. Review and post journal entries during period-end close processes. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. Assess the effectiveness of control procedures. Prepare external financial reporting. Implement new accounting standards. Develop, document and implement procedures that will produce timely and accurate financial information. Document processes and procedures. Skills and qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting. 3-6 years of accounting or auditing experience. CPA & Public Accounting experience strongly preferred. Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle. Pay and benefits:
