Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Data Analytics Engineer who would like to work for an industry leading provider dedicated to changing wireless forever and connecting our customers’ world together. The Manager Data Analytics Engineer will work on the Data Team to oversee the data warehouse pipeline with regard to maintenance, training and development. We are looking for someone who can work with both the technical data teams and the business stakeholders to implement and enhance existing data models and data assets. This role is instrumental in making sure our internal and external teams have reliable, accurate and timely data. They are responsible for transforming data, creating reusable insights, applying best practices and transforming that into documentation. This role will lead a team that will support the organization and its stakeholders and vendors. One key aspect of this role is to mentor and coach existing team members. Responsibilities Identify, collect and integrate data from various sources. Ensure data quality and consistency. Define and create data models that populate databases and data sources. Design, create and manage databases and data sources to store and organize data efficiently. Work with already created data models to drive value to the business through processes and reporting. Partner as a technical liaison between customers and technical teams. Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders. Write programs and scripts to automate data processing tasks utilizing programming languages such as Python, DBT and SQL. Work closely with business analysts, data teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights. Ensure data security and compliance. Document best practices in data and pipeline management and work with stakeholders to educate teams on the use of the data. Manage team of data analyst and data analytic engineer. Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts with internal teams and external partners. Apply Machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling and data classification tasks. Job Requirements 5+ years of working in data driven organizations with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience. Expert in SQL query language. Strong understanding and experience with development methodologies, including waterfall and agile. Experience with the integration of systems and data sources. Create process models and outline requirements for business leaders. Experience working with cloud database platforms and ability to maintain, scale, configure and integrate. Snowflake and MySQL preferred. Proficient with Data Analytics tools like Tableau, Sigma and Power BI Experience in data pipeline management including ETL tools, Estuary, Lambda, DBT and Python. Working knowledge of Git or other version control systems. Knowledge of software engineering best practices and experience applying them to analytics code. Critical thinker and problem solver with ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders. Understanding of AI, machine learning and other robotic tools. Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and problem resolution in a cross-functional team. Industry Knowledge (Telecommunications) – Preferred Job Type: Full-time
