Avita Community Partners is looking for clinicians to work in our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), located in Gainesville, Ga. We are seeking fully licensed staff to serve in our BHCC assisting adults experiencing mental health crises and/or in need of detoxification from substances and includes the following: Crisis Walk-In Center: Temporary Observation Unit: A 15 bed facility-based program that provides a physically secure and medically safe environment to further assess, stabilize, and refer clients to the next appropriate level of care. Crisis Stabilization Unit: A 30-bed, short-term crisis residential unit providing treatment to adults experiencing mental health crisis or who are in need of withdrawal management from substances. All departments listed are 24/7. 


 Job Summary: 


Crisis Walk-In Center/Temporary Observation Unit: Clinical staff complete assessments on individuals walking into the center in crisis and based on those assessments arrange for follow-up care or admission to Temporary Observation, Crisis Stabilization and hospitals. Clinicians may also assist with assessment, treatment planning, and safety planning of adults on the Temporary Observation Unit. 


Hours - Full Time - 40 hours a week - 12a to 8a


Compensation:  $ 20.00 Per hour - Unlicensed with Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy with the ability to be licensed at the associate level (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT) within six months of hire. 


25.00 Per hour - Associate level licensure in state of Georgia - LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT


30.00 Per hour - Full license in the state of Georgia - LPC, LCSW, LMFT
